In the world, seven of the largest cosmetics companies out of 15 top beauty brands in the world are based in the US, and France has five such companies. L’Oréal is the biggest cosmetics company globally, followed by ESTÉE LAUDER. NIVEA is also among the top ten cosmetics companies based on revenues in 2024.

L’Oréal is a huge cosmetics company from France. and is at the top of the list of Top Beauty Brands in The World, They make things like hair colour, skincare, makeup, and perfumes. In 2003, they made about €14 billion in sales and €1.6 billion in profit. They’re in more than 130 countries and have about 50,500 employees. They spend a good amount of money on research and development and have many patents. They also have lots of factories and make a variety of products, earning from different parts of the world. By 2007, they had about 60,850 employees and had made a lot of sales globally. As of 2016, they were worth about €89.5 billion with a big revenue of €25.8 billion.

The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. is a big American cosmetics company in New York City and they are second in our list of Top Beauty Brands in The World, They make and sell makeup, skincare, perfumes, and hair care products. They have a lot of different brands like La Mer, Clinique, and Tom Ford Beauty that are sold worldwide online and in stores.
In 2016, Estée Lauder made sales of about $11.26 billion, which was a bit more than the year before. They earned about $1.11 billion in profit, and their earnings per share went up by 5%.
